Who we are
This website is operated by Depetrini Ltd, trading as Depetrini Tours (company number 16035717), Office 19, 182-184 High Street North, East Ham, London E6 2JA, United Kingdom. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Questions about this policy: [email protected].
What we collect
When you send an enquiry we receive your name, email address, and anything you choose to add: travel dates, number of travellers and your message.
When you book a Bologna tour, the booking and payment are handled by our booking provider Bókun, which collects the details needed to complete your booking.
Our hosting provider records basic technical data (such as IP address and browser type) in server logs to keep the site secure and working.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal (steps taken at your request before a contract), to deliver tours and journeys you book (performance of a contract), and to keep the website secure (legitimate interests).
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
Formspree, which delivers enquiry form messages to our inbox; Bókun, which processes tour bookings and payments; Vercel, which hosts this website; Umami, which provides our visitor statistics; and our email provider. When we organise a journey, we share only the details needed with the guides, hotels and partners delivering it.
Some of these providers are based outside the UK and EU. Where data is transferred, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless they lead to a booking, in which case we keep booking records for as long as required by tax and accounting rules.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Email [email protected].
You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) or to the data protection authority in your EU country.
Cookies
This website itself sets no cookies and uses no advertising tools. To understand how the site is used, we count visits with Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics service that works without cookies and does not collect personal data or track you across other websites.
When you open the booking window for a Bologna tour, our booking provider Bókun loads inside this page and sets its own cookies to run the booking and checkout and to measure how its booking window is used. They are only set once you open the booking window. Bókun’s privacy policy explains how it uses them.
